Services

The Princeton Wellness Center is a nurse-based practice providing a wide range of services, including evaluation/orientation for new residents, creation and maintenance of residents’ health records and medication lists, providing health clinics and educational materials about disease prevention, and health maintenance, including offering annual flu and pneumonia shots onsite. Additionally, the Wellness Center is staffed year-round with telephone counseling referrals to promote your wellness and assist you with a medical condition or an issue you are experiencing during business hours. If you need attention outside of these hours, our security will respond, assist and call (911) if needed.

Because monitoring your health and wellness is the Center’s primary focus, a number of local physicians hold office hours on-site, this includes an audiologist, a cardiologist, a geriatrician, an optometrist and a podiatrist. Blood pressure and glucose monitoring are available if needed. Per your physician’s order, the Wellness Center can administer injections and do dressing changes. Phlebotomy services are available weekly in the Wellness Center. The Center can arrange with local pharmacies to deliver your prescriptions directly to the Center.

The Wellness Center can also make referrals to home health agencies for PCAs (personal care assistants), assisted living options or skilled nursing facilities, when appropriate.
